Collegiate Table Tennis Scholarships
(Lindenwood University)
Lindenwood University, located 15 minutes from the St. Louis International Lambert Airport, has named Randy and Kelly Kendle as their Co-Head Coaches of this program. Lindenwood has 18 Butterfly Centrefold 25 Sky Rollaway blue tables, 170 Butterfly blue barriers, and two Butterfly Amicus 3000 Plus robots. The university is a four-year liberal arts institution with 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs (http://www.lindenwood.edu).
The team is actively recruiting players now. You do NOT have to have a USATT rating above 2000 to receive a table tennis scholarship. 2010 Lindenwood September Open
The next local USATT-sanctioned table tennis tournament will be held on September 25-26, 2010 at Lindenwood University. This is a 2-star tournament with prize money totalling $2,975. The Open Singles RR, U-2350 Singles RR, and the U-2150 Singles RR pay out to the semifinals. On Sunday, giant round robin groups will compete for cash prizes in the top two (2) divisions.
